About

(Well, let's be honest - we are writing this ourselves, so we might as write this in 1st person)
In late 2019 we extended with our new brand, Seramikku, which offers high quality, limited Japanese ceramics imported directly from the suppliers in Japan.
In 2020, when we still operated under the taishō-domain, we saw the need to separate our two brands from each other. However, we still liked the idea that our customers could add both posters and ceramics to the same basket and thereby avoiding to pay double delivery fees. That's when we came up with the idea of the holmtaiki.com domain - a platform that combines our two brand universes Taishō and Seramikku.
Seramikku is the Japanese vocal sound of the english word "ceramic". If you try to pronounce it one syllable at a time, you might be able to hear the similarities. The idea behind the brand was to offer unique, high quality Japanese ceramics in limited amounts. We like the idea that we can offer something unique and special for each and every piece sold.
We strive to give you the best quality of material and color every time. All prints are designed by Ida and printed in collaboration with our professional supplier. The colors are thoroughly tested and printed on a 12-color plotter printer, and the paper is 120g matt quality paper.
A 12-color plotter printer gives far more depth in colors and the opportunity for more intense colors. A lot of companies offer posters printed on 8- or 10-color plotter printers which limit the color opportunities. At Taishō we won’t accept the limitation in quality and we prioritize to invest in the highest color quality possible.
